34. Crochet a blanket

One of my favourite blankets still to this day is one that mum crocheted. It is so warm and colourful! There is just something about hand-made things that makes them that much more enjoyable. Crocheting my own blanket was always going to be a monstrous task, mostly because I get bored of things easily. I think this may have taken me over a year to complete. I would give up, then come back to it, then give up again, but finally I finished it! After I completed it, I gave it to one of my good friends in Canada. As it was my first blanket I made a lot of mistakes so it has probably fallen apart by now, sorry B! I really want to make a second one and keep it for myself, but I still haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe one day! Goal completed 16 June, 2013.

100. Help someone write a goals list

Some people may think it is cheating to have two of the goals on this 100 goals list to be about writing goals. However, if you ever sit down and write 100 goals, you will find that it is not an easy task. It took me three months to finally finish the list. Also, I am a believer in the benefits of goal setting, which is why I set the challenge to help/inspire someone to write their 100 goals. My younger sister stepped up to the challenge, taking inspiration from my own list, and numerous discussions we had about goals. In turn, after reading her completed list, I was inspired to revise a few of my own goals. I hope she finds as much joy in pursuing her list as I have so far. Looking forward to crossing a few off with you sis! Goal completed 11 June, 2013

73. Braid my own hair

When I was in high school, I used to love to get my friend Cassiey to braid my hair. I always wished I could do it myself, but my arms would always get tired so I would give up half way through, or it would just look terrible. When I was writing my 100 goals list (and starting to run out of ideas) I decided that perhaps it was worth learning how to do it myself. I have to say, it took me quite a few tries and some seriously dead arms, but I was eventually able to get a pretty decent braid. Unfortunately, I can't find a decent picture of it, and since then I cut my hair short. Recently it is finally starting to grow back, so perhaps I will be able to try it again soon.
